प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज एक लेख साझा किया जिसमें बताया गया है कि भारत का जल-प्रबंधन मॉडल किस तरह सभी विकासशील देशों (ग्लोबल साउथ) के लिए उपयोगी सबक प्रदान कर सकता है। श्री मोदी ने कहा कि जल सुरक्षा केवल बुनियादी ढांचे के निर्माण तक ही सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि इसमें अच्छी योजना, मजबूत स्थानीय व्यवस्था और जल प्रबंधन में समुदायों की भागीदारी भी शामिल है।
श्री मोदी ने कहा, “गुजरात में जल सुधारों से लेकर बड़े पैमाने पर राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रमों तक भारत की यात्रा उन देशों के लिए एक व्यावहारिक उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करती है जो जल प्रबंधन में सुधार करना चाहते हैं और बढ़ती जल आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना चाहते हैं।”
