অসময়ের ঝড়বৃষ্টিতে গুজরাটের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে জীবনহানির ঘটনা ঘটায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন।
এক বার্তায় তিনি বলেছেন, “গুজরাটের বিভিন্ন এলাকায় অসময়ের ঝড়বৃষ্টিতে জীবনহানির ঘটনায় আমি চিন্তিত। শোক সন্তপ্ত পরিবারগুলির জন্য আমি ব্যথিত! প্রশাসন পরিস্থিতির ওপর কড়া নজর রাখছে। ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের সব রকম সহায়তা দেওয়া হবে”। এই প্রেক্ষিতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী জাতীয় ত্রাণ তহবিল থেকে নিহত ব্যক্তিদের নিকটাত্মীয়দের ২ লক্ষ টাকা এবং আহতদের জন্য ৫০ হাজার টাকা করে অর্থ মঞ্জুর করেছেন।

PM @narendramodi approved an ex- gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to unseasonal rain and storms in various parts of Gujarat.
