আজকিছুক্ষণ আগে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর কাছে এক টেলিফোন বার্তায় জম্মু ওকাশ্মীরের উরি-তে জঙ্গি হানার ঘটনায় উদ্বেগ ও সমবেদনা প্রকাশ করেন শ্রীলঙ্কারপ্রেসিডেন্ট মিঃ মৈত্রিপালা সিরিসেনা।
প্রধানমন্ত্রীরসঙ্গে টেলিফোনে কথা বলার সময় তিনি সীমান্ত অঞ্চলে জঙ্গি হানার কঠোর নিন্দা করেনএবং এই ঘটনায় যাঁরা বলি হয়েছেন তাঁদের পরিবার-পরিজনদের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জানান।
দুইনেতাই সংশ্লিষ্ট অঞ্চলে প্রতিবেশী দেশগুলির মধ্যে সন্ত্রাসবাদী তৎপরতার মোকাবিলায়ঘনিষ্ঠ ও নিরন্তর সহযোগিতার ওপর বিশেষ জোর দিয়েছেন টেলিফোনে আলাপচারিতার সময় ।
