উৎসবের মরশুমে দেশবাসীকে শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে এখন বৈশাখী, বৈশাখারি, মাসারি, বোহাগ বিহু, পয়লা বৈশাখ, বিষু, মহাবিষুব সংক্রান্তি এবং পুথান্ডু পালিত হচ্ছে। উৎসবের এই মরশুম দেশবাসীর সুখ ও সমৃদ্ধির সূচনা করবে বলে আশা ব্যক্ত করেছেন শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। এক বার্তায় তিনি বলেছেন :
“আগামী বছরটিতে তরুণ ও যুবক সহ সকল দেশবাসীর আশা-আকাঙ্ক্ষা সফল হয়ে উঠুক। সকলের মধ্যে আনন্দ ও সম্প্রীতির পরিবেশ গড়ে উঠুক এই কামনা জানাই।”
