প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি আজ বলেছেন, ভারতের অন্তর্নিহিত বৈচিত্র্য হচ্ছে এর বিশেষত্ব, গর্ব এবং শক্তি| লন্ডনের ওয়েম্বলি স্টেডিয়ামে ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভুতদের বিশাল জমায়েতে শুক্রবার ব্রিটিশ প্রধানমন্ত্রী ডেভিড ক্যামেরনের উপস্থিতিতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শিখ সম্প্রদায়ের মহান অবদান ও ভারতীয় সুফি ঐতিহ্যের কথা তুলে ধরেন| তিনি এপ্রসঙ্গে বৃহস্পতিবার লন্ডনে শিখ সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষদের সঙ্গে তাঁর আলোচনার প্রসঙ্গ তুলে ধরে বলেন, তিনি তাঁদের যন্ত্রণার কথা অনুভব করেছেন, তাঁদের সমস্যার বিষয়গুলি জেনেছেন এবং সেগুলি সমাধানে কাজ করছেন|
এক ঘন্টারও বেশি সময়ের ভাষণে প্রধানমন্ত্রী ভারত সম্পর্কে তাঁর দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি মেলে ধরতে গিয়ে রাজস্থানের আলোয়ারের ইমরান খানের প্রসঙ্গ তুলে ধরেন, যিনি ৫০-টির মতো শিক্ষামূলক অ্যাপ তৈরি করেন এবং বিনামূল্যে তা বিলি করেন| তিনি হরিয়ানার এক সরপঞ্চ-এর কথাও এ প্রসঙ্গে স্মরণ করেন, যিনি প্রধানমন্ত্রীর ‘বেটি বাঁচাও, বেটি পড়াও’ আহ্বানে সারা দিয়ে ‘সেলফি উইথ ডটার’ অভিযান শুরু করেন, যা এখন বিশ্বজুড়ে সাফল্য পেয়েছে| তিনি বলেন, ভারতের উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যত সম্পর্কে তিনি নিশ্চিত, কেননা ভারত সম্পর্কে তাঁর দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি হচ্ছে সেইরকম, যে ভারতে রয়েছেন ইমরান খান আর সেলফি-খ্যাত সেই সরপঞ্চ| তিনি বলেন, ভারতে এ রকম অগনিত মানুষ রয়েছেন|
প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, পৃথিবীর সমস্ত প্রধান ধর্ম ও ধর্ম বিশ্বাসের মানুষ বেশ ভালো সংখ্যাতেই ভারতে রয়েছেন| তিনি বলেন, অনাবাসী ভারতীয়রা যেখানেই গেছেন, সেখানেই সেই মূল্যবোধ বহন করে নিয়ে গেছেন| তাই তাঁরা ভারতের মহান রাষ্ট্রদূত|
প্রধানমন্ত্রী তাঁর সরকারের বিভিন্ন পদক্ষেপ নিয়েও আলোচনা করেন| এর পাশাপাশি ভারতবাসীর জীবনযাত্রার মান পরিবর্তনে তাঁর বিভিন্ন পরিকল্পনা যেমন- স্বচ্ছ ভারত, পরিচ্ছন্ন শক্তি ইত্যাদি নিয়েও আলোচনা করেন| তিনি বলেন, ব্যয়সাধ্য সৌরশক্তি উৎপাদনে ভারত বিশ্বের মধ্যে প্রধান ভূমিকায় উঠে আসার লক্ষ্যে, পর্যাপ্ত সৌর বিকিরণের দিক দিয়ে ভাগ্যবান দেশগুলোকে নিয়ে বিশ্ব সৌর জোট পরিচালনা করবে|
প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, আপনারা টিভির পর্দায় অথবা সংবাদপত্রে যে ভারত দেখেন, বাস্তবের ভারত অথবা ভারতের প্রাণশক্তি ও অনুভব তার চেয়ে অনেক অনেক বৃহৎ|
