রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবনের নতুন সংগ্রহশালাটির আজ উদ্বোধন করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। এটিহল রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবনের দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ের সংগ্রহশালা। রাষ্ট্রপতি শ্রী প্রণব মুখোপাধ্যায়, উপরাষ্ট্রপতি শ্রী হামিদ আনসারি এবং অন্যান্য বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের উপস্থিতিতে দ্বারোদ্ঘাটন হয় নতুন সংগ্রহশালাটির।
এইউপলক্ষে কয়েকটি বইও প্রকাশ করা হয় এদিনের অনুষ্ঠানে। এই বই বা ‘গ্রন্থ’গুলিকে একঐতিহাসিক স্মারক বলে চিহ্নিত করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। তিনি বলেন, অতীতের মধ্যেপ্রাণসঞ্চার ঘটল এই বইগুলি প্রকাশের মধ্য দিয়ে।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী তাঁর ভাষণে বলেন, দেশের প্রতি রাষ্ট্রপতি শ্রীপ্রণব মুখোপাধ্যায়ের অবদান অপরিসীম। রাষ্ট্রপতির কার্যালয়টিতেও তাঁর বহু অবদানেরচিহ্ন রয়েছে। বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক প্রেক্ষাপটের ব্যক্তিরা কিভাবে যুক্ত প্রচেষ্টায়মিলিত হতে পারেন তা আমরা শিখতে পারি রাষ্ট্রপতি শ্রী মুখোপাধ্যায়ের কাছ থেকে।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী আরও বলেন, পুনর্নবীকরণযোগ্যজ্বালানি শক্তি, জল সংরক্ষণ বা ডিজিটাল ভারত – যাই হোক না কেন, এ সমস্ত কিছু উদ্যোগেরই সূচনা হয়েছে রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবনে।
