উত্তরপ্রদেশেরবেরিলিতে এক বাস দুর্ঘটনায় প্রাণহানির সংবাদে শোক ও সমবেদনা প্রকাশ করেছেনপ্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। এক বার্তায় তিনি বলেছেন :
“উত্তরপ্রদেশেরবেরিলিতে বাস দুর্ঘটনা বিশেষভাবে মর্মস্পর্শী। প্রাণহানির ঘটনায় জানাই আমার শোক ও সমবেদনা । আহতরা দ্রুত সুস্থ হয়ে উঠুন এই প্রার্থনা জানাই।”
বেরিলির এইদুর্ঘটনায় নিহতদের নিকটাত্মীয়দের এককালীন ২ লক্ষ টাকার ত্রাণ সহায়তা মঞ্জুর করেছেনপ্রধানমন্ত্রী তাঁর জাতীয় ত্রাণ তহবিল থেকে। গুরুতরভাবে যাঁরা আহত হয়েছেন তাঁদেরজন্য মঞ্জুর করা হয়েছে ৫০ হাজার টাকা করে।
