এক ট্যুইট বার্তায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেছেন, “মণিপুর সংস্কৃতির জন্যই পরিচিত। বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে মণিপুরের মানুষরা উল্লেখযোগ্য সাফল্য রেখেছে। আগামীদিনে তাঁরা যাতে আরও উন্নতি করতে পারেন, সেজন্য প্রার্থনা জানাই।”
