মালয়েশিয়ার প্রধানমন্ত্রী হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহন করায় ডঃ মহাথির মহম্মদকে টেলিফোনে আজ (সোমবার) শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী।
মালয়েশিয়ার বন্ধু মনোভাবাপন্ন মানুষের অগ্রগতি ও সমৃদ্ধির জন্য প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী সেদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন। মোদী বলেন, ভারত ও মালয়েশিয়ার ঘনিষ্ঠ ও পারস্পরিক স্বার্থ সংশ্লিষ্ট সম্পর্ক অভিন্ন মূল্যবোধ, আগ্রহ ও মানুষের সঙ্গে মানুষের চিরন্তন সম্পর্কের মজবুত ভিত্তিতে গড়ে উঠেছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ভারত-মালয়েশিয়া কৌশলগত সম্পর্ককে আরও শক্তিশালী করে তুলতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী ডঃ মহাথিরের সঙ্গে কাজ করার ব্যাপারে তিনি আশাবাদী।
