The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that the Service to the nation is the foundation of a ‘Developed India.’ Shri Modi remarked that on the proud occasion of Civil Services Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to building an empowered, prosperous, and compassionate India by bringing the person standing at the last mile into the mainstream of development.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“शीलं परहितासक्तिः अनुत्सेकः क्षमा धृतिः।

अलोभश्चेति विद्यायाः परिपाकोञ्चलं फलम्॥”

The Subhashitam conveys, that modesty, benevolence, humility, forgiveness, patience and non- greed, all these are the bright fruits of the perfection of knowledge.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“राष्ट्रसेवा ही ‘विकसित भारत’ की नींव है। सिविल सेवा दिवस के गौरवशाली अवसर पर आइए, अंतिम पंक्ति में खड़े व्यक्ति को विकास की मुख्यधारा से जोड़कर सशक्त, समृद्ध एवं संवेदनशील भारतवर्ष के निर्माण का संकल्प दोहराएं।
