The Indian economy, being the fastest-growing major economy, is on its way to being a significant contributor to global growth in the coming years with its young population, improving physical and digital infrastructure and an enabling policy environment. India’s external sector is stable, as evident in rising exports of services. The current account deficit (CAD) is low and manageable, and forex reserves stand bolstered to deal with eventualities.
