The Union Cabinet chaired by the PM has given its approval to ratify the Paris Agreement (on Climate Change) on 2nd October 2016, the day of Gandhi Jayanti.
Says the agreement demonstrates the collective wisdom of world leaders. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said that climate justice has won at the recently concluded Paris Climate Change Conference.
