ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਦੌਰ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਸਤੂ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ (ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ) ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨ, ਵਧੇਰੇ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਉਣ, ਅਪਰਾਧ ਦੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰਨ (ਗੈਰ-ਅਪਰਾਧੀਕਰਨ) ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਉਪਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਟੈਕਸ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਅਸਰ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਐੱਕਸ ‘ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ:
ਮੈਂ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਦੌਰ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਉਣ, ਅਪਰਾਧ ਦੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਅਸਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ, ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਹਨ।
