The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the passing away of Shri O P Mehra.
“Am pained on passing away of a brave and distinguished patriot, Shri O P Mehra. He will always be remembered for his contribution to India.
Shri O P Mehra spent years in service of the nation, first in the Air Force and then through sports administration and as Governor of states.
My thoughts are with the family and all those whose lives Shri O P Mehra touched. May his soul rest in peace”, the Prime Minister said.
