ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ,ਸ਼੍ਰੀਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਭਲਕੇਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲਬਿਹਾਰ ਵਿੱਚਚੰਪਾਰਨ ਸੱਤਿਆਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਉਹ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ 20,000 ਸਵੱਛਗ੍ਰਹੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਅੰਬੈਸਡਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਤੀਹਾਰੀਵਿਖੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ।ਸਵੱਛਗ੍ਰਹੀ, ਪਿੰਡ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇਸਫਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਮੁਦਾਇਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ (CAS) ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇਪੈਦਲ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਹਨ।ਸਵੱਛਾਗ੍ਰਹੀ, ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ְ‘ਚ ਪਖ਼ਾਨੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂਮੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੀਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਹਨ।
ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਦੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ10 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1917 ਨੂੰਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਚੰਪਾਰਨ ਸੱਤਿਆਗ੍ਰਹਿਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਲ (Indigo) ਖੇਤੀਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।10 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2018 ਨੂੰਚੰਪਾਰਨ ਸੱਤਿਆਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਦੇਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ“ਸੱਤਿਆਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਸੇ ਸਵੱਛਗ੍ਰਹਿ” ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀਕਈ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
