ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਇਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ ਪੇਰੇਜ (Shimon Peres) ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ‘ਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਇਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ” “ਸਾਬਕਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ ਪੇਰੇਜ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੋਸਤ ਦਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖ ਹੋਇਆ । ਇਸਰਾਇਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ” (“In former President Shimon Peres, we lost a key world leader and a friend of India.
