ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਰਗਿਲ ਵਿਜੇ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਹੌਸਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀਰਤਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਐੱਕਸ ‘ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ:
“ਕਾਰਗਿਲ ਵਿਜੇ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਵੀਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀਰ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀਰਤਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਤ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇਗਾ।”
