ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੈਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਪਲਟਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਔਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਲਦ ਠੀਕ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਨ ਗਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਵਾਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਫ਼ੰਡ (ਪੀਐੱਮਐੱਨਆਰਐੱਫ) ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 2 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਐਕਸ ਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 50,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੇ ਐੱਕਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ;
“ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੈਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇੜੀ ਪਲਟਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਨੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਔਖੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਾਵਾਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਲਦ ਠੀਕ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਨ ਗਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਵਾਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਫ਼ੰਡ (ਪੀਐੱਮਐੱਨਆਰਐੱਫ) ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 2 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਐਕਸ ਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 50,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ:
