ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਣਯ ਤਿਥੀ ’ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਪੂਜਯ ਬਾਪੂ ਕੋ ਉਨਕੀ ਪੁਣਯ ਤਿਥੀ ਪਰ ਸ਼ਤ੍ ਸ਼ਤ੍ ਨਮਨ।
ਬਾਪੂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਣਯ ਤਿਥੀ ’ਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੱਧਤਾ ਦੁਹਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਮਾਰਗ ’ਤੇ ਚਲਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕੀਤਾ।”
