ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਏਸ਼ਿਆਈ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਪੋਲ ਵਾਲਟ ’ਚ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦਾ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਣ ’ਤੇ ਬਾਰਾਨਿਕਾ ਇਲਾਂਗੋਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਾਲੀ ਤਗਮਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੇ ਐੱਕਸ ’ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ:
“ਭਾਰਤ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਤਗਮਾ!
“ਏਸ਼ਿਆਈ ਖੇਡਾਂ ’ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਪੋਲ ਵਾਲਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦਾ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਣ ’ਤੇ ਬਾਰਾਨਿਕਾ ਇਲਾਂਗੋਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ-ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧਾਈ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਐਥਲੀਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰੇਗੀ: ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ @narendramodi”
