ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਯੰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਨਤਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਐੱਕਸ ’ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ:
“ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ’ਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਨਤਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।”
