ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಶತಮಾನೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ, 21ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಜನರು ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು ಎಂದರು. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಕೌಶಲಪೂರ್ಣ ಯುವಕರ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವಿನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ್ದು ಎಂದರು.
ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಗ್ಧ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಯಾರು ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥರಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಯಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.
