ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಮಣಿಪುರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಷಾಂಗ್ ಕೀಶಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ನಿಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಂಬನಿ ಮಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
“ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಷಾಂಗ್ ಕೀಶಿಂಗ್ ನಿಧನದಿಂದ ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಭಾರತದ ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಕಂದಕ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ, ಆ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿಅವರು ಬಹಳ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ದುಃಖದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಷಾಂಗ್ ಕೀಶಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂವೇದನೆ ಇದೆ” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
