ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਵਾਲਮੀਕਿ ਜਯੰਤੀ `ਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਵਾਲਮੀਕਿ ਦੇ ਨੇਕ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ,”ਵਾਲਮੀਕਿ ਜਯੰਤੀ `ਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਵਾਲਮੀਕਿ ਦੇ ਨੇਕ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਹੈ।’’
