“હું એસસીઓ શિખર પરિષદમાં હાજરી આપવા તથા એસસીઓ રાષ્ટ્રોના નેતાઓ સાથે ચર્ચા કરવા ઉઝબેકિસ્તાનના ટૂંકા પ્રવાસે જઈશ. ભારતને એસસીઓના સભ્ય તરીકે ગર્વ છે અને તે એસસીઓ થકી ફળદાયી નિષ્કર્ષો ખાસ કરીને આર્થિક સહકાર બાબતે આગળ વધવા આતુર છે.
ભારત મધ્ય એશિયાના સંબંધોને વિશેષ મહત્વ આપે છે અને પ્રાંતમાં હંમેશા આર્થિક વિસ્તાર તથા લોકોથી લોકોનું જોડાણ ઈચ્છે છે.”
