પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ રાજ્યસભાના સાંસદ ડૉ. મહેન્દ્ર પ્રસાદના નિધન પર ઘેરા શોકની લાગણી વ્યક્ત કરી છે.
એક ટ્વિટમાં, પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું;
“રાજ્યસભાના સાંસદ ડૉ. મહેન્દ્ર પ્રસાદજીના અવસાનથી વ્યથિત છું. તેમણે ઘણા વર્ષો સુધી સંસદમાં સેવા આપી અને અનેક સમુદાય સેવાના પ્રયાસોમાં તેઓ અગ્રેસર હતા. તેઓ હંમેશા બિહાર અને તેના લોકોના કલ્યાણ માટે બોલ્યા. તેમના પરિવાર પ્રત્યે સંવેદના. ઓમ શાંતિ.”
