ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರಿಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಶ್ರೀ. ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ, ಉಪ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಹಮೀದ್ ಅನ್ಸಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಗಣ್ಯರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಭವನದ ವಸ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯದ IIನೇ ಹಂತವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ, ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಗಳನ್ನು “ಗ್ರಂಥ”ಗಳೆಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಿ, ಇವು ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಛಾಪು ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಇಂದು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾದ ವಸ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯವು ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗತಿಸಿಹೋದುದನ್ನು ತರುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಪ್ರಣಬ್ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಅವರ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅನನ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ಕೂಡ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು. ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಜನರು ಹೇಗೆ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕಲಿಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು
ಅದು ಪುನರ್ ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇಂಧನವಿರಲಿ, ಜಲ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೇ ಇರಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಇರಲಿ, ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
