ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಅನೇಕತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಏಕತೆಯ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ವಿವಿಧ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ “ಏಕ ಭಾರತ್, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಭಾರತ್”ಉಪಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೂ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಕ್ರಮದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಲಾ ಎರಡು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ನಡುವೆ 6 ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಕಿತ ಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಥ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎಂದೂ ಮರೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾಜರಾಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ ಮನವೊಲಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಅವರ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಸುದೀರ್ಘವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
“ಏಕ ಭಾರತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಭಾರತ” ಉಪಕ್ರಮ ಭಾರತದ ವಿವಿಧ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಬೆಸೆಯುತ್ತದೆ ಎಬುದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳ ಸಹಿತ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
