2014 ലെ ഗാന്ധി സമാധാന പുരസ്കാരം നേടിയ ഐ.എസ്. ആര്.ഒ യെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു. ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞരുടെ കഠിനാധ്വാനത്തിനുള്ള ശരിയായ ശ്രദ്ധാഞ്ജലിയാണ് ഈ പുരസ്കാരമെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഐ.എസ്.ആര്.ഒയുടെ നേട്ടങ്ങള് മാനവരാശിയുടെ സമാധാനത്തിനും പുരോഗതിക്കും മഹത്തായ സംഭാവനയാണ് നല്കിയിട്ടുള്ളതെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.
