അടുത്തിടെ ഭീകരാക്രമണം നടന്ന പഠാന്കോട്ട് വ്യോമസേനാത്താവളം പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരോന്ദ്ര മോദി സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു. ഭയങ്കരമായ ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തെ നേരിടാന് കൈക്കൊണ്ട സംയുക്ത നീക്കങ്ങളെയും തുടര്ന്നുള്ള തെരച്ചില് പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ച് മുതിര്ന്ന സായുധസേനാ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെ വിശദമായി ധരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഭീകരാക്രമണം നടന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങള് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു. അതിര്ത്തി പ്രദേശത്തു അദ്ദേഹം വ്യോമനിരീക്ഷണവും നടത്തി.
ദേശീയ സുരക്ഷാ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവ് ശ്രീ. അജിത്ത് ദോവല്, കര-വ്യോമ സേനകളുടെയും, എന്.എസ്.ജി., ബി.എസ്.എഫ്. എന്നിവയുടെ മേധാവികളും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ സന്ദര്ശനവേളയില് സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു.
