نئی دلّی ، 26 فروری ؍ جب لوگ کسی چیز کو حاصل کرنے کے لئے طے کر لیتے ہیں ، تو کوئی طاقت انہیں روک نہیں سکتی ۔ یہ ہے لوگوں کی طاقت ۔ کوئی ملک لیڈروں اور حکومتوں کے ذریعہ نہیں بنا ہے ۔ یہ عوام کی طاقت ہے جو ایک قوم کی تعمیر کرتی ہے ۔
ہمیں ایک نئے بھارت کی تعمیر کرنا ہے ، جو کہ ذات پات ، فرقہ پرستی اور بد عنوانی کی سیاست سے پاک ہو ۔ ہم ایک بھارت تعمیر کرنا چاہتے ہیں جہاں ہر ایک شہری با اخیتار ہو ۔
سورت شہر کو ان نشانوں کے حصول کا شرف حاصل ہے ۔ یہ وہ شہر ہے جو ہم آہنگی میں یقین رکھتا ہے ۔ میں سورت کے لوگوں سے رواں سال جون میں یوگا دوس اور اکتوبر میں رن فار یونٹی ( اتحاد کے لئے دوڑ ) میں سرگرم حصہ لینے پر زور دیتا ہوں ۔
اس قسم کی میراتھن کی شروعات لوگوں کی صحت کے لئے مفید ہے ۔ میں کھیلوں کو فروغ دینے کے لئے لوگوں سے اپیل کرتا ہوں ۔ اس سے اچھی صحت اور ٹیم ورک کے جذبے میں اضافہ ہوتا ہے ۔
نئے بھارت کی تعمیر ہمارا مقصد ہے۔یہ بہترین خراج عقیدت ہے ان مرد و زن کو جنہوں نے اپنی زندگیاں جدو جہد آزادی کے لئے قربان کر دیں ۔
