এক বাৰ্তাত প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰীয়ে কয়, “বিশ্ব উপভোক্তা অধিকাৰ দিৱস উপলক্ষে সকলোকে শুভেচ্ছা জনাইছো। অৰ্থনীতিত উপভোক্তাসকলে এক গুৰুত্বপূৰ্ণ ভূমিকা পালন কৰে। ভাৰত চৰকাৰে কেৱল উপভোক্তাৰ সুৰক্ষাতে নহয়, উপভোক্তাৰ সমৃদ্ধিৰ ওপৰতো গুৰুত্ব আৰোপ কৰে।”
