પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદી પર આજે વેનેઝુએલાના બોલિવેરિયન રિપબ્લિકના કાર્યકારી રાષ્ટ્રપતિ, મહામહિમ સુશ્રી ડેલ્સી એલોઇના રોડ્રિગ્ઝ ગોમેઝનો ટેલિફોન કોલ આવ્યો હતો.
બંને નેતાઓ વેપાર અને રોકાણ, ઊર્જા, ડિજિટલ ટેકનોલોજી, આરોગ્ય, કૃષિ અને પરસ્પર જનસંપર્ક (people-to-people ties) સહિતના તમામ ક્ષેત્રોમાં ભારત-વેનેઝુએલા ભાગીદારીને વધુ વિસ્તારવા અને ગાઢ બનાવવા માટે સંમત થયા હતા.
બંને નેતાઓએ પરસ્પર હિતના વિવિધ પ્રાદેશિક અને વૈશ્વિક મુદ્દાઓ પર વિચારોનું આદાનપ્રદાન કર્યું અને ગ્લોબલ સાઉથ માટે તેમના ગાઢ સહકારના મહત્વ પર ભાર મૂક્યો હતો.
બંને નેતાઓ સંપર્કમાં રહેવા માટે સંમત થયા હતા.
